Facilities Supervisor
Based in Uxbridge
Salary of £35-38k, day shift, 40 hours per week.
Will have up to 6 direct reports and annual budget in excess of £500k.
Building for which will have responsibility holds 250 people.
Knowledge, skills and qualifications
Must have:-
A good basic education.
At least two years supervisory experience ideally in an office environment
Good customer service skills
Experience managing both internal staff and contractors
Computer skills to an intermediate standard.
A multi-skilled engineer ideally with electrical bias.
City & Guilds/ONC/HNC Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
Flexible approach to work.
Travelling time from home to site to be no more than 1 hour.
Advantageous to have :-
Experience of Building Management Systems. Trend would be ideal but not essential
Apprentice trained.
Experience managing soft service activities such as cleaning and security.
Main tasks
Manage day to day maintenance operations on site consisting of both self delivered and sub contract works in line with scope of work and ensuring compliance to SLA?s
Evaluate and produce Risk Assessments and Methods Statements.
Provide reports and KPI data as required.
Carry out preventative & reactive tasks, completing within the required time to a high standard of workmanship.
Ensure both internal staff and subcontractors comply with all legislation and adopt best practice in all aspects of operations on site.
Compile and provide quotations for works outside SOW as required.
To maintain documentation in an audit ready condition at all times.
Use of procurement systems to order parts as required.
Carry out other tasks and duties as required.
Assist in the production of CAPEX plans.
Manage the preventative and corrective maintenance systems and ensure data is accurate.
Control operation budget and provide forecasts as required
