Materials analyst(Stockley Park-Uxbridge)
Ensure that materials data is correctly set up with the right status and accuracy for use in the markets/ Customers databases
Ensure that data is analysed for accuracy and de-listed on a timely basis to maintain a manageable market list. Carry out analysis for price data where required
Manage European output to Data Synchronisation and quote sheet world
Monitor all incoming requests for new materials to be set up in Data Management / HPPS. Use check list to validate data entries and resolve any issues with originators
Authorise data to move to SAP and external system environments after necessary data checks and additional field information has been completed in accordance with governance process
Manage the process of de-listing materials by carrying out appropriate analysis of data in SAP and proposing listings to markets for de-list on a regular and timely basis
On a continuous basis, monitor the status of key material data in SAP and take appropriate action with other material colleagues to improve the data using available data research. Produce monthly reports of data accuracy improvement
Manage the process of moving data to external systems such as Data Synchronisation and Speedquote new line forms. Manage changes to Speedquote to improve the output of materials data to Customers and internal reporting of customer information
Assist with the generation of reporting of Intercompany price lists and the integration of data with sources of price data.
Be the primary Business information contact for Materials Management and produce the necessary reporting for materials data
Assist materials governance teams in ad hoc projects that require SAP data analysis and reporting

Essential
High level of literacy and numeracy (2 good A levels to grade A preferably including maths)
Strong knowledge of SAP materials management modules and Access / other reporting / database tools with the ability to create databases using critical and technical thinking and problem solving based on detailed knowledge of material structures
Good Keyboard skills and knowledge of 2 or more MS Office applications preferably Word and Excel to at least intermediate level
Results oriented focus and strong concern for quality and accuracy of work
Positive response to pressure and challenge
Ability to motivate others to carry out tasks required to maintain data accuracy
Desirable
Ideally exposure to an FMCG business with short product life cycles and high levels of seasonality
Some experience of home grown materials management systems
