The Role:
Reporting to the Project Team Leader the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Supporting users of integrated software JD Edwards and other Corporate IT software applications (2nd Level Support).
Supporting implementation and development activity of Corporate IT software.
Participating in the knowledge development of the end user base through formal training and related working groups.
Ensuring customer calls are resolved effectively and efficiently delivering premier quality and service, within the teams service level agreements.
Creating application documentation, best practice guides and general user documentation.
Providing consultation to locations in all areas of JDE functionality, some of which may be on the customer site.
Skills and Experience
Strong Application Support Knowledge, particularly JDE Finance
Good academic background with experience in documentation design and development together with a more extensive professional experience within an IT environment.
Strong working knowledge of document development methodologies, Authoring and publishing tools
Creative thinking, excellent communication and project related management skills are essential.
Self-starter and team player able to work well with all colleagues.
Strong Customer Support ethic.
Commercially astute and familiar with all business processes
Strong problem resolution and analytical skills
Strong, clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation, organising and planning skills
High degree of technical expertise.
