JDE Application Support Analyst (IT/ ERP)

The Role:

Reporting to the Project Team Leader the successful candidate will be responsible for:



• Supporting users of integrated software JD Edwards and other Corporate IT software applications (2nd Level Support).



• Supporting implementation and development activity of Corporate IT software.



• Participating in the knowledge development of the end user base through formal training and related working groups.



• Ensuring customer calls are resolved effectively and efficiently delivering premier quality and service, within the team’s service level agreements.



• Creating application documentation, best practice guides and general user documentation.



• Providing consultation to locations in all areas of JDE functionality, some of which may be on the customer site.

Skills and Experience

• Strong Application Support Knowledge, particularly JDE Finance

• Good academic background with experience in documentation design and development together with a more extensive professional experience within an IT environment.

• Strong working knowledge of document development methodologies, Authoring and publishing tools

• Creative thinking, excellent communication and project related management skills are essential.

• Self-starter and team player able to work well with all colleagues.

• Strong Customer Support ethic.

• Commercially astute and familiar with all business processes

• Strong problem resolution and analytical skills

• Strong, clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent presentation, organising and planning skills

• High degree of technical expertise.
