£25,000 - £29,000 Basic Salary + OTE
Search Technical are working with one of the worlds most innovative Gas Generator and Combined Heat and Power companies. Due to their expansion we have an opportunity based from home for a CHP Generator Field Service Engineer.
Ideally located within the M4 / M40 / M1 areas, you will be an Mechanical focused Engineer with engine fault finding, strip / rebuild and problem resolution skills.
You will be travelling daily to customer sites throughout the Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe and Slough areas, servicing and maintaining Gas CHP (Combined Heat and Power) units, providing client satisfaction and outstanding customer service at all times. Responsible for around 20 CHP units you will respond to Mechanical and basic Electrical breakdowns and service calls, maintaining and repairing any faulty units.
Educated to a minimum of HNC/ONC or equivalent in an Engineering subject, you will possess a strong Mechanical ability with an Electrical aptitude and prior experience in the servicing or maintenance of power supply equipment such as CHP sets, engines, generators or UPS systems.
We welcome applications from Engineers currently working within the Forces or for other Power Generation / Plant Hire companies.
You will need to possess a full and valid UK driving licence, strong communication skills and a high attention to detail. Our client is offering the successful candidate a highly competitive salary circa £25,000 - £29,000 + OTE, together with a company van, bonus, pension, health care and holiday.
